Kira Pollack

Director of Photography and Visual Enterprise
Kira Pollack is the Director of Photography and Visual Enterprise at TIME. In October 2011, she was named the photo editor of the year at the Lucie Awards. Since Pollack joined TIME in October 2009, the brand’s photography has been recognized with many prestigious awards including the World Press photo of the Year, and the Visa D’Or award at Visa Pour l’Image. Pollack spearheaded TIME’s Beyond 9/11 project, which was awarded an Emmy in October of 2012. In March 2011, she established TIME’s photography site LightBox, and in August, 2013, she established TIME's new documentary film unit, Red Border Films. Previously, Pollack was the Deputy photo editor at The New York Times Magazine.

Paul Moakley

Deputy Director of Photography and Visual Enterprise, TIME
Paul Moakley has been the Deputy Director of Photography and Visual Enterprise of TIME since 2010. He covers national news and special projects such as Person of the Year and the LightBox photo blog. Previously he was senior photo editor at Newsweek and photo editor of PDN (Photo District News). Moakley is an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York City as well as a photographer and filmmaker. He lives at the Alice Austen House Museum, home of one of America’s earliest photographers, as caretaker and curator of the museum.

Phil Bicker

Senior Photo Editor, TIME
Phil Bicker, who joined TIME in 2010, curates LightBox: The 10 Best Pictures of the Week for the iPad edition and contributes as a photo editor to TIME and Before working as a senior photo editor, Phil was an art director, starting at the Face magazine in London. He later art directed Creative Camera magazine and was creative director of Vogue Hommes International and the Fader. Prior to joining TIME, he was the creative director at Magnum Photos, New York.

Erica Fahr Campbell

Associate Photo Editor, TIME
Erica Fahr Campbell joined TIME in 2011 as the photo assistant, working on production for special projects including 9/11: Portraits of Resilience. Previously, she worked as an artist assistant and freelance curator. Campbell studied at Parsons School of Design in New York, as well as Camberwell College of Art in London. In addition to her position at TIME, her personal work has been exhibited and published internationally.

Richard Conway

Richard Conway is Reporter/Producer for TIME LightBox. Conway is an author at Phaidon's Wallpaper* City Guides, and was editor of Plan magazine, one of Ireland's largest architecture and design publications. He has covered culture, design and travel for the Guardian, the Irish Times, LIFE, Atlantic Cities, Huffington Post and the Irish Independent.

Ben Cosgrove

Ben Cosgrove joined TIME in 2012. He edits and writes for LightBox and is the editor of He helped launch HotWired's groundbreaking political site, Netizen; was managing editor of the early, influential e-zine,; and has covered the arts, culture and technology for Salon, the Washington Post, LA Weekly and others. Marysa Greenawalt

Marysa Greenawalt joined TIME in 2013 as our Photo Assistant where she aids the TIME photo staff with production on the magazine and contributes to LightBox. Previously, Marysa worked in the photo departments at Hearst Digital Media and Teen Vogue. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism.

Bridget Harris

Senior Photography Producer, TIME
Bridget Harris is a Senior Photography Producer at TIME Magazine. Since joining TIME in 2012, she has produced photography for all aspects of the magazine from covers to various feature stories. She has also produced the photography for the annual TIME100 in addition to other special projects. Bridget's extensive production background includes editorial projects for The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Vogue, and GQ, as well as commercial campaigns in the fashion, beauty and entertainment industries.

Alexander Ho

Alexander Ho is the Digital Art Director of, overseeing the design and visual development of TIME's editorial projects online. Previously, he was the Special Projects Photo Editor, where oversaw the photography of's projects, packages, and products—including Person of the Year and TIME100. Before he joined TIME in 2010, he worked as a curator and artist’s assistant. In addition to working at TIME, he is also a photographer—his work has been published and exhibited internationally.

Myles Little

Myles Little has been an associate photo editor at TIME since 2011. He produced TIME's "Ideas" issue and the cover of “The Cult of Apple in China” for TIME International, which won the SPD Silver Medal for Cover Illustration 2013. In addition, he curates photography exhibits and has lectured on photography here and abroad. He previously edited photos at Bloomberg Businessweek, and Conde Nast

Natalie Matutschovsky

Natalie Matutschovsky joined TIME in 2010 as associate photo editor. In addition to contributing to weekly features and special packages like the TIME 100 and an annual roundup of great-performances portraits, she edits for the Culture section. Natalie was formerly at the New Yorker, where she curated images for the fiction section. Before moving to New York City in 2006, she headed up photography at the Walrus, a magazine based in her hometown, Toronto.

Michelle Molloy

Michelle Molloy joined TIME International as a Senior Photo Editor in 2013. She came to TIME from Newsweek, where she was a Senior Photo Editor and, during a transitional period, acting Director of Photography. There she contributed to award-winning coverage of three presidential elections, Hurricane Katrina and productions of Oscar/Emmy roundtables.

Marisa Schwartz

Marisa Schwartz joined TIME in October 2013 and became an Associate Photo Editor for the website in April 2014. Previously, she spent several years working in the media industry in Ghana and co-founded Loud Silence Media, a documentary production house based in Accra. She studied at Parsons School of Design in New York City and, in addition to her position at TIME, is a multimedia journalist.

Mikko Takkunen

Mikko Takkunen joined in 2013 as an associate photo editor. Originally from Finland, Mikko has been living in the U.K. for ten years. Before joining TIME, he spent two years working as a freelance photographer in London for various international newspapers, such as The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. In 2007, Mikko started the Photojournalism Links website, which is now part of LightBox.

Marie Tobias, whose career spans over 15 years at TIME, is an associate photo editor. During her tenure, she has worked primarily as photo editor of the magazine’s Arts section. Tobias has won awards from American Photography, Communication Arts and POYi.

Mia Tramz

Mia Tramz joined as an Associate Photo Editor in April 2013. Previously she spent two years as the Assistant Director of an e-commerce start up that specialized in selling fine art photography. She has also worked at Milk Studios, and held internships at Magnum Photos and Vanity Fair. She is a graduate of Columbia University.

Jonathan D. Woods

Jonathan Woods joined as photo editor in March 2012. Previously, Woods spent three years with as a multimedia producer and six as a photojournalist for newspapers ranging from the Gazette in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to the Rocky Mountain News in Denver. Woods oversees the photographic vision of and the team of picture editors who contribute to it.
