July 25, 2011. People place roses in front of Oslo's town hall after as many as 150,000 people gathered for a flower vigil in the capital, in a show of solidarity with the victims of recent attacks in Norway.

This week: A memorial for the victims of the attacks in Norway, refugee camps in Kenya, a rally in Yemen, a hot air balloon is prepared for a flight over London, a wave crashes into a ship, a fair in Srinagar, a Kashmiri vendor selling wrist watches, and all over, people jumping into bodies of water to escape hot weather.
